GAHH! I know I haven't posted in a few days! I'm sorry! Would you believe it was because I was busy? 'Cause I really was! Cross my heart!
Well, tonight is the big night, everyone. Tonight is the night I get to see Phantom of the Opera live. I'M SO FREAKING EXCITED!
Anywho, I promised that this blog was going to be a place where I would write down teen issues as I observed them. I don't think I'm doing to well with that. It kinda just feels like on giant continuous rant. BUT, even though I observed this a long time ago, I thought today would be a good time to write about it, seeing as I'm going to a musical tonight.
About two years ago, I went to a Jonas Brothers concert. Yes, yes, I know. I was part of the evil empire. But When I was there, I couldn't believe how many teenage guys were there. It baffled me. I figured there might be a few guys there (maybe because they aren't exactly on the straight path of life...and no, I'm not judging), but there were like hoards of them.
I finally saw one teenage guy that I knew and asked him what he was doing there. He replied that he was there with his girlfriend. That's when it dawned on me...most, if not all of these teenage boys were there for their girlfriend.
Now, every place "girly" I go, I look for guys that are being forced to go with their girlfriends. One of my wise teachers once told me that teenage boys would NEVER set foot in a theater unless it's for a girl that he likes because it would be un-masculine (is that even a word?). I'm tending to agree with him. I'll report back to you tomorrow if I see any of this going on tonight at Phantom.
Thanks for your patience with me! Here's a video to show you how much I love you!
