I'm not the superstitious/wish-believing type. Honestly, I'm not. It's just nice to have something to hold on to...something to give me hope in my dreams.
I was talking about 11:11 with a friend a couple weeks ago and she told me that she doesn't wish anymore. She can't stand the disappointment when the wish doesn't come true.
I get that. I totally do. But I think the most important thing about 11:11, or about any other means of wish-making (shooting star, wishing well, fountain, etc.), is the passion you put behind what you want...if that makes sense. If you want something bad enough and you wish for it with all your heart, you'll most likely do whatever it takes to make your wish come true.
That's my theory on why "I wish for a pony" doesn't work. GO TO WORK AND GET SOME MONEY TO PAY FOR THAT PONY, LAZY!
