Cleaning My Room and Other Such Oddities...

You know what I find oddly calming? Cleaning my room. Now, hold on, I'm not talking like every-other-day-picking-up, I'm talking like once-in-ten-years type of thing.

Yesterday, my entire day was consumed with clearing out my drawers, throwing away junk that I haven't used since I was six years old, trying to decide which of my books should be allowed to stay on my shelf, mopping my floor, and, of course, singing Bohemian Rhapsody at the top of my lungs while listening to it on my iPod.

The only problem I faced with that was the fact nobody in my family could hear my iPod. I can't tell you how many times my father peeked in my door to laugh at me.

Well, while I was digging through what seemed like endless layers of junk in my drawers, I found a few things that made me extremely happy, thus me being in such a good mood about cleaning.

In one drawer, I found a full container of sidewalk chalk. I LOVE sidewalk chalk. You can probably guess what I'll be doing up at the playground today...

I also found my old Harry Potter stationary. I'm a Potterhead, there isn't any use denying it. I should probably seek professional help because my obsession is so unhealthy. Anyways, I have decided that all of my fellow Potterhead best friends will be getting some snail mail soon...now I only have to figure out how to train an owl to deliver them...
