Hey! So, sorry about the title. I was just thinking about how much I missed the cast of The Wizard of Oz, especially the seniors (we did it at my high school this year).
I really am going on a trip, though! Tomorrow I leave for Steubenville, Ohio. At Franciscan University, there is a Steubenville Youth Conference that my youth group is attending. Lots of Jesus and singing and Bob Rice and Jesus. Wanna know the kicker part of this whole trip? Tomorrow is actually my 17th birthday. I've NEVER been away from my family on my birthday. NEVER. Ahh, well. I guess it's all just a part of growing up.
I was walking through the mall today, window shopping, mostly, and saw that F.Y.E. is selling a life-size cardboard cutout of Robert Pattinson in his Edward Cullen attire. I have to warn you up front, I am a fan of Twilight. But never you fear! Meghan is not a Twihard, by any extent of the imagination.
I burst out laughing in the middle of the hallway in the mall. Sure, I got looks from people. Sure, they probably thought I was crazy, but honestly? Wouldn't you laugh too? It was the most rediculous thing I'd ever seen. Who would want a fake Robert Pattinson staring them down in their bedroom while they got changed? I know I wouldn't.
It got even better, though. The price tag on our dear friend Mr. Cullen was a whopping $30! WHO WOULD PAY THAT KIND OF MONEY FOR A CARDBOARD CUTOUT?!?!?! Well, maybe if you really needed a homecoming date like these girls:
If there are any Twihards out there, please, please please listen to me! DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT BUY A $30 CARDBOARD CUTOUT OF ROBERT PATTINSON. IT IS BEYOND CREEPY.
